Frequently asked questions
My Umrah visa already includes insurance. Why add more?
The insurance linked to the visa is the basic cover Saudi Arabia requires. Supplementary cover adds personal accident benefits, extra medical cover and trip disruption cover, which the basic cover may not include.
Does it cover cancellation if I cannot travel?
Many policies cover cancellation for listed reasons, such as serious illness or the death of a close relative (policy dependent). Buy the cover soon after booking so cancellation protection starts early.
Can a Hajj or Umrah group be insured under one policy?
Yes. A group policy can cover all travellers in the group for the trip dates. Send us the number of travellers and the travel dates and we will request offers.
We are going to Umrah by road. Is the car covered?
No. This policy covers the travellers, not the vehicle. Qatar motor policies do not automatically cover Saudi Arabia, and every vehicle entering needs valid third-party cover there; we can help you review your motor policy before you travel.
