Frequently asked questions

Will my travel insurance meet Schengen visa rules?

Schengen visas need at least EUR 30,000 of medical cover, valid in all Schengen countries for the whole stay. We arrange a policy that meets this and give you the insurance certificate for your visa application; the embassy decides on the visa.

When should I choose an annual multi-trip policy?

If you travel several times a year, one annual policy can cover all your trips within its limits, such as the maximum days per trip. We explain these limits so you know what each offer covers.

Does my medical insurance in Qatar cover me abroad?

Some medical plans include treatment outside Qatar and some do not, and they rarely cover trip problems like cancellation or lost baggage. Send us your plan details and we review them with you.

What should I do if I need a doctor abroad?

Call the emergency assistance number on your policy before going to hospital if you can, and keep all reports and receipts. Tell us as soon as you can, since some policies set a time limit for reporting, and we follow the claim with the insurer.
